Home Recording: Beginner scenarios

I will start this article with huge thanks to Hannes Antensteiner, for the feedback on my previous article, on Linux Europe. What “did the trick” to offer me a very interesting perspective, was the word “workflow”. Since I am a certified Project Manager, the concept of workflow, has a meaning to me and as a beginner in music and audio, particularily under Linux, I think this is the best way to put it! Based on the goals a beginner has (mostly voice and desktop recording), Read more [...]

Linux audio as a beginner

Hi, everybody! I'm writing this article because as a beginner in audio and mostly under Linux, I had a hard time and the learning curve is so flat, progress is so slow, that it feels excruciatingly painful. And speaking of stuff that might help… For the Romanian market, I could find almost nothing. For reasons I can barely grasp, people that work in this industry in Romania — and there are lots of them! — are missing from the online world. At least, for what we usually call “Sharing Read more [...]

A Whole New Beginning

Is it possible to “start from scratch”? Read more [...]

Building our country’s image

One of the most debated subjects in Romanian media, is the image of România and how is it built by the authorities. But I come now in front of you and ask a question: ARE WE STILL BOUND BY WHAT THE GOVERNMENTS DO OR FAIL TO DO? We live now in an informational era, wether we like it or else. Blogging, went far from being a hobby and even in Romania, it became a full-time job and in some cases, grew into a business. I have my own projects running on the Romanian market Read more [...]

Re-start from scratch

Sometimes, life rolls in and out in a different way than expected. This happened to this blog. I picked up a hosting for certain reasons and I came to see that I made the wrong choice. Regardless the details, I found myself in front of a taugh decision: RESTART the blog, from scratch. I lost some of the energy invested, but in the end, I guess I got some lessons and I hope I learned them well enough to make a difference this time. So, here I am, writing again “the first post”. Actually, Read more [...]
